    The alpine basin above Lake Louise’s fame with none of its crowds. Bus seats are won by lottery months ahead. No seat? Walking the 11 km road in is allowed, and still worth it.

    The full width of the Kicking Horse dropping 30 metres, via an easy 4.6 km round trip. The plan B that never feels like one.

Day 3: Marble Canyon to Radium Hot Springs
