What the import reads
The parser looks for "Day 1", "Day 2" headings and the bullets or numbered lines under them. Time and meal labels ("Morning:", "2:00 PM –", "Lunch at") are stripped so the stop name is what gets searched. A day heading that names a place ("Day 2: The Vatican") tells the search where to look. It runs on your device, so pasting costs nothing and sends nothing.

What Treader checks that the chat could not
A language model does not know whether the museum is closed on the Tuesday you arrive, or that your Monday is a public holiday in that province. Once the stops are on the map, Treader reads opening hours against your arrival day and flags each stop that falls on a public holiday, by country and by province. Free on every plan.

Plan it together
The imported trip is a normal Treader trip: invite the people going, edit days side by side, split costs, and keep bookings and documents with the plan. The chat gave you a draft; the map is where the group decides.

Which AI assistants does this work with?
Any that answer with "Day 1", "Day 2" headings and a bullet per stop: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity all do by default. Copy the whole answer, including the headings.
Is the text sent anywhere when I paste it?
No. The days and stops are read in your browser. The text is kept on your device until you press "Put it on the map", and then it is used to build the trip in your new account.
Some stops are missing from the preview. Why?
The preview only lists stops written as a bullet or a numbered line under a Day heading. A stop written inside a sentence, or a day headed "Tuesday" instead of "Day 2", is not read here. Inside the app, the same paste goes through Scout, which reads the prose too.
Does this cost anything?
No. The import, the map, opening hours and holiday checks are free on every plan. Pro adds road conditions and border waits along the route.
