Invite people to a trip

Trips are better with accomplices. Invite someone and you're both looking at the same live plan: edits land on the other screen in about a second. No refreshing, no emailing "final_v2".

Send an invite

1. 1 Open Share on the trip, or send the link from Who’s coming? right after you create one.
2. 2 Tap Copy link (or Share link on a phone) and send it to the group chat. Anyone with the link sees the plan and joins with a free account. Choose whether the link joins people as Can edit or Can view.
3. 3 People already on Treader can be added by name or @handle instead. They accept from their Messages, and the trip appears in their list.

What each role means

• Owner: you. Invites, roles, publishing and deletion stay yours.
• Editor: adds, edits, reorders and removes stops, and edits costs on a budgeted trip. Full planning partner.
• Viewer: sees everything as it changes, touches nothing.

Seats per plan

Your plan sets how many editors a trip seats: 1 on Free, 3 on Pro, 10 on Discovery. Viewers don’t take a seat, so everyone else can follow along on any plan. Once the editing seats are full, new people join through the link as viewers. Nobody needs a paid plan to join.
