Plans, billing and free months

Treader has three plans, and free is a real product, not a nag screen: full planner, live map discovery, flights, collaboration and Scout, capped rather than crippled.

The three plans

• Free: 1 owned trip of up to 7 days, 1 collaborator per trip, 15 Scout messages a month. Join as many trips as people invite you to.
• [Pro](/pricing), $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year (save 17%): unlimited trips (up to 7 days each), 3 collaborators per trip, 300 Scout messages a month on a smarter model, trip budgets, one-tap day optimize, richer place cards with photos and reviews, and toll, ferry and timezone aware routing.
• [Discovery](/pricing), $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (save 17%): everything in Pro, plus trips up to 30 days, 10 collaborators per trip, unlimited Scout, and the full Travel Data suite: vault, wallet and flight claims.

Manage it in Settings

Settings under Account handles the whole relationship: change plans with the proration shown before you confirm, manage cards, download invoices, and turn auto-renew off or on. No support ticket, no "please call to cancel".

Free months for bringing friends

Your referral link lives in the account menu. A friend who joins through it gets a free month of Pro on the spot, and you get your own free month when they move onto a paid plan.
